Our Story
Born from a vision, built for generations
GEM Achievers Montessori School was established on 16th September 2019 with a divine vision — to raise godly, excellent, and purpose-driven children in the heart of Oloro Community, Egbeda Local Government Area, Ibadan.
Founded by Mr. Okunola Oluniyi Elisha & Mrs Okunola Abisoye O, the school was birthed out of a deep passion to transform the educational landscape of the community — to give children access to world-class learning without leaving their roots.
“We didn’t just build a school. We built a covenant with a generation — to raise children who are excellent, grounded, and uncompromising in character.”
Since inception, GEM has grown steadily in enrolment, academic performance, spiritual formation, and community impact — a testimony to the faithfulness of God and the commitment of our team and families.

Mr. Okunola O. Elisha & Mrs Okunola Abisoye O are the visionaries behind GEM Achievers Montessori School. Driven by a passion for transformational education, they saw a need in the Oloro Community that went beyond academics — a need for a school that would shape the total child.
Their vision was clear: combine the best of Montessori learning with the Nigerian and British curriculum standards, and anchor it all in biblical values that produce children of integrity, excellence, and purpose.
Under their leadership, the school has grown from a vision into a fully accredited institution with approved Nursery and Primary sections, a thriving spiritual formation programme, and a growing legacy of impact in the community.
Their guiding conviction remains: “Others may, but we will not.” GEM children are raised to be different — not ordinary, but exceptional in every dimension of life.

Primary Section Approved Accredited
Primary section receives full accreditation, solidifying GEM’s standing as a credible academic institution.
Secondary Section Accredited
The expansion into secondary education is here — completing the full Crèche-to-SS3 journey at GEM.
